Making College Dreams Come True! |

· The NACAC survey (2004) reported that 35% of all students receive federal need-based grant aid. Yet, more importantly over the past 10 years there has been a 229% increase in non-need based aid. This is a 44% growth! This is imperative in assisting students to attend college based on the perception that college is too expensive. There are many students who do not apply to the colleges of their choice because they believe their families can not afford it. The truth is that a student, after receiving financial aid, will pay just $11,000 a year for a college that lists a $24,000 tuition rate including room and board.

· “Thanks for all you have done to help John with this process. I am anxious for the last application to be on its way—I know you are too. I know this check doesn’t begin to cover your time. Thank you again for so unselfishly giving your expertise and encouragement to John. This is going to be quite a year for him”. - Sally Russell (son accepted at Wheaton College)
· Tell Heather that I owe her huge debt of gratitude. She helped me with my resume back in ‘04 and she did such an amazing job with it that now, in ‘07, I don't need to do much to touch it up. I have a couple of job leads already, but it was a such a big relief to have a resume that was professionaly done. Please extend my thanks. - Tom Cirner
· "I found Heather's advice and assistance to be right on the mark. She helped me re-work my entire resume to better match what recruiters and hiring managers are looking for. She has the ability to understand both the big picture and the details in helping candidates enhance their career and the way they present themselves." -Greg Smith
· “Mrs. Petrelli has helped me in many ways. She has made me see that certain things are out of my control and in seeing this has helped me cope with these problems. This has helped me make the best out of many situations. Also, she has helped provide me with academic counseling and helping me sort through my options. This only begins to explain the many things she has done for me. Many people tried to achieve the results in my life that Mrs. Petrelli had helped me achieve in a very short time. She also helped me trust in someone that I could confide in. She saw through the facade I would put on in front of everyone else and helped me come to a point where I was not only able to talk about what was going on but put into action a plan that would help me get through it and deal with the situation at hand. She believed in me when many others simply thought I was trying to cause trouble. I am very grateful to her for everything” - Sara Hart
· “Thanks for your encouragement. I am trying to get back my self confidence and sense of self worth after at least a year and a half of unemployment. I had decided to go to grad school after ALOT of research and thinking and I felt good about going forward with this until I was faced with some negativity from family. You helped me to realize I was headed in the right direction, having confirmation from you is good.” - ASH
· “Thank you for your desire to inspire and help in my vocational search efforts. Thank you also for your willingness to help and play a role in shaping my future. I greatly appreciate your services.” - Scott Burkholder |
